Mulberry is delighted to announce the completion of a new build distribution centre for the U.K.’s largest international pallet distributor in Swadlincote, Derbyshire.

The development consists of a single unit comprising of 614,000 sq ft of warehouse and office space. The new distribution centred has breathed new life into an area, which once was home to the former Bison Concrete Manufacturing factory and can now boast to being of the biggest employment sites in the area.

The development has been built with energy efficiency in mind throughout its construction utilising LED energy efficiency lighting and a large number of solar PVs located on the roof. The development has been awarded a BREEAM Excellent rating and an EPC A rating for its overall environmental performance.
